My Artist’s Statement

My name is Chris Gritti and above all things I value integrity which is why I chose to blend my name with it as a reminder to myself to stay mindful and humble. That’s how I came up with InteGritti which is meant to be pronounced the same as Integity.

Through my artistic journey, I have come to believe that creative expression is not merely a hobby or a form of entertainment, but a profound means of understanding ourselves and connecting with others. It is a language that transcends boundaries, inviting viewers to explore their own emotions, thoughts, and experiences.

In my artistic practice, I strive to pour my heart and soul into every piece, creating a visual representation of my inner world. Each stroke of the brush, each line on the canvas, is an outpouring of my essence, a reflection of my unique perspective on life. Through my art, I offer a piece of myself to the world, an offering that invites others to share in my journey of self-discovery.

Art has the power to reveal the hidden corners of our being, those parts of ourselves that are often difficult to express in words alone. It allows me to delve into the depths of my emotions, to confront my fears, hopes, and dreams. It is a cathartic process, a way of unraveling the complexities of my thoughts and experiences, and finding solace in the act of creation.

But my art is not just a personal exploration. It is also a bridge that connects me with others. I believe that art has the ability to foster empathy and understanding among individuals, transcending cultural and linguistic barriers. It speaks a universal language, inviting viewers to interpret and engage with the work in their own unique way.

Through my art, I aim to ignite a dialogue with my audience, to create moments of reflection and connection. I want my work to evoke emotions, to stir something deep within the viewer, whether it be joy, sadness, or introspection. I want to encourage a shared experience that goes beyond the surface, encouraging viewers to delve into their own thoughts and interpretations.

In this fast-paced, chaotic world, I believe that art provides a much-needed respite, a moment of stillness and contemplation. It offers an opportunity to pause, to reflect, and to find meaning in the beauty that surrounds us. Through my art, I strive to capture these moments of tranquility, to transport viewers to a place of serenity and introspection.

Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to create a space for connection, both with myself and with others. I want my art to be a catalyst for self-discovery, a mirror that reflects our shared humanity. By offering my work to the world, I invite viewers to embark on their own creative journey, to explore the depths of their own souls, and to find solace and inspiration in the power of artistic expression.

In this way, I hope to contribute to a world that is more compassionate, empathetic, and understanding. Through art, I believe we can bridge the gaps that divide us, and celebrate the beauty that unites us all as human beings.

Lofty goals, I admit, but if you’re gonna dream…

Stay Mindful

PS here’s a sneak peak at my latest.

Nitti Gritti

Greetings from Chris

Hi there, I’m Chris (Nitti) Gritti and I’m a Mental Health Coach.

Lets just keep this clear and simple for full transparency.

I am not a college educated psychologist nor can I prescribe medications.  I am certified in cognitive behavioral therapy, but the bulk of my knowledge comes from life experience.  Tons and tons of trial and error which equals tons and tons of mistakes.  Those mistakes taught me that radical self acceptance, self love, and core confidence all come from choosing to let go of the victimhood identity and embracing the responsibility of the outcomes of our life choices.

I’ve found my passion in helping others get on their own team and believe in themselves again. I am not the right Mental Health Coach for everyone, but I might be the right fit for you, so look around. Check out my content on YouTube and IG if you don’t get a clear vibe on me here at the site. No matter what i want to commend you for looking for someone to help you, and I wish you the best in finding the right therapist for you.

Be Unapologetically You.

It’s okay if people don’t like you.

Mahalo and Aloha,

Chris Gritti
